Who is TARA?

Welcome to The Audio Recording Academy (TARA). We've been operating since 1992 in Ottawa and in Toronto since 2002.

TARA was founded with the goal of providing accessible and affordable education to accommodate students and artists whose passions for audio recording extends beyond everyday curiosity. The TARA philosophy is to provide a comfortable 'learning without attitude' experience in a real studio environment.

We attract like-minded people who are committed to pursuing their dreams of working in the audio industry, or surrounding themselves with the best audio equipment to indulge their creative passions and find their creative voice.

From recent high school graduates to retired executives, our students value the exposure to real life recording scenarios, which conventional curriculums cannot offer.
