Advanced Program
Our 32-week, two-semester program starts each year in September and February.
- Classes run a minimum 20 hrs/week
- 12 hrs are dedicated to scheduled class time
- 8 hrs are allotted for students to book the studios for private lab sessions
Students can complete assignments and foster their own creativity without having to book labs at inconvenient times. We only accept a small number of students into the program allowing each student plenty of time to utilize the facilities during accommodating time slots throughout the day and evening.

Advanced Program
Applied Record Production & Label Creation
TARA, in working with Canadian Labels, Management and Publishing companies, is offering an intensive 3-month course in advanced applied music production and business creation.
The course is designed for audio engineers who have graduated from an Applied Audio Production or Recording Arts Diploma program and are looking to further their education and hands-on experience in record "producing".
Our objectives are to:
- Further develop your experiences gained in record production, and;
- Provide you with enhanced business skills to help you get jobs with record labels or start your own.
During the program, a small number of qualified students will be exposed to every aspect of starting and operating a record label WHILE recording and producing a CD. TARA will engage existing music companies to find talented bands and artists for students to work with throughout the program.
