Damon de Szegheo, is a working record producer, recording engineer and label owner with over 200 records to his credit. His production and engineering clients have included Bruce Cockburn, The Barenaked Ladies, Serena Ryder, members of Three Days Grace, Trevor McNevan of Thousand Foot Krutch and many others. He has toured with Country Music Legend Stompin' Tom Connors, has been invited to sit on numerous Factor Grant juries, holds an honors & teaching degree from Trent University and currently runs the independent music label www.fortheloveofrecords.com.
Gemini Award winning composer Phil Strong leads our Post Production series, which includes "Sound for Film".
Toronto's "Go-To" guy for all things electronic and analog is Tom McCartney. He has been servicing the city's biggest studio facilities for many years. He is also the author of "Recording Studio — Technology, Maintenance and Repairs".
Seasoned musicians from various popular independent and major label bands lead our drum bass and guitar workshops.
All our instructors have the ability to teach intricate and sometimes difficult areas of instruction in a manner that connects with TARA students, which ultimately is the most important role we play in the education of audio.
